I compose music for film, TV, and media projects, crafting immersive, cinematic soundscapes that elevate storytelling. From initial concept to final production, I work closely with filmmakers to shape a score that enhances mood, rhythm, and emotion—creating music that not only supports the story but deeply resonates with audiences.
Bio
As aKido, I released five albums and earned nominations at ADISQ, GAMIQ, CBC Bucky Awards, and the Independent Music Awards. My distinct sound led me to scoring projects like Inside the Mind of Leonardo (starring Peter Capaldi), Et au pire, on se mariera, Coteau Rouge, Maïna (Canadian Screen Award nominee), Wong & Winchester, and Classé Secret (Prix Gémeaux winner for Best Score). I also composed theme music for CBC’s Grands Reportages and Zone Info and collaborated with artists like Millimetrik, Pawa Up First, and Will Driving West.
I started playing guitar at 12, played in indie rock bands (Magma Dogma, Zolof), and took a detour into graphic design before returning to music full-time in 2004. Around then, I began film scoring under Michel Cusson, working on Cavalia, The Rocket, and Dinosaurs Alive! IMAX. We later collaborated on Unité 9 and À cœur battant.
Today, I continue to shape compelling, emotion-driven scores—working hand in hand with filmmakers to bring their stories to life through music.
